proce55ing

hab mir gestern mal wieder die neue de:bug gekauft und darin einen interessanten artikel über eine software mit dem namen proce55sing gelesen. die beschreibung habe ich mal eben von deren webseite übernommen, da ich es selbst nicht besser beschreiben könnte....

Proce55ing is an environment for creating electronic media. It is a sketchbook for developing ideas and a context for learning fundamentals of computer programming within the context of the electronic arts. The software is currently in a pre-release stage, but bug fixes are being made as we head toward a more complete "1.0" release. Proce55ing will be free to download and use.

Proce55ing is an open project initiated by Ben Fry and Casey Reas. It is currently developed in the Aesthetics and Computation Group at the MIT Media Lab and at the Interaction Design Institute Ivrea.

... letzten endes lassen sich mit der proce55sing programmiersprache (stark vereinfachtes java) solche teilweise interaktiven bilder generieren, welche sich als applets in eine webseite integrieren lassen.
